Afternoon: Visit King Johnʼs Castle, one of Limerickʼs most iconic landmarks, situated in the heart of the medieval city overlooking the River Shannon. Continue on to The Hunt Museum, home to one of Irelandʼs most important private collections of art and antiquities.

 

 

 

Day Trip Two: Foynes & Limerick

Morning: Foynes Flying Boat & Maritime Museum, Limerick. Visit Aviation Museum, Maritime Museum, Maureen OʼHara Exhibition and Irish Coffee Centre where you learn how to make the perfect Irish Coffee in the very place where it was first invented.

Lunch: Lunch in OʼReganʼs Restaurant in Foynes, Limerick.

Afternoon: Shopping in the Crescent Shopping Centre, Limerick, which is Munsterʼs Largest Shopping Centre.
