Top class international Tennis is coming to Limerick, when Ireland face Austria in a Davis Cup World Group I Play-off in the University of Limerick Arena, on
February 3rd and 4th, just 20 minutes from us here at Great National South Court Hotel.

The UL Sport Arena will play host as Ireland face Austria in a Davis Cup World Group 1 Play-off. With Limerick tennis legend Conor Niland captaining the Irish team and former world number 3 and US Open winner Dominic Thiem likely to feature on the Austrian team, fans of the sport will be well catered to.

The Davis Cup is seen as the World Cup of tennis. This match is the first home tie Ireland has hosted in 9 years. There will be two singles on Saturday 3rd, with a doubles and two further singles being played on Sunday 4th. The winning team will progress to World Group I.
