challenge for every level of fitness.
Experience the “Limerick Roar” as thousands of spectators line the leafy avenues of
O’Connell Street and the scenic banks of the River Shannon to cheer you across the finish

becomes the ultimate hub for family entertainment. From Friday through Monday, enjoy
artisan food markets, vintage amusements, and street performers.
Don’t miss the spectacular Riverfest Fireworks on Sunday night, lighting up the sky over
King John’s Castle, or the high-octane Fidget Feet aerial acrobats performing over the Shannon.
There is truly something for everyone to enjoy.

Live Music & Unbeatable Atmosphere
Live Music & Unbeatable Atmosphere
The May Bank Holiday is synonymous with live music in the Treaty City. From traditional
sessions in historic pubs to major outdoor concerts at King John’s Castle, the rhythm of
the city is infectious.
Follow the Riverfest Music Trail on Friday evening to discover local talent, or settle into a
gastropub for a well-deserved post-race pint and live tunes.
Survival Tips
for the Weekend
- Road Closures: Sunday is the big one. O’Connell Street and the surrounding quays will be closed to traffic for the run. If you’re coming from out of town, use the Park & Ride services or the train.
- Race Pack Collection: Remember, there is no race pack collection on Sunday. Head to the UL Arena on Saturday between 11:00 AM and 4:30 PM to grab your gear.
- Book Early: Restaurants fill up fast on Sunday afternoon with hungry runners. If you want that post-race pasta or pint, get your table secured now.
